After School Clubs

As we have been awarded Extended School Status by the Department for Education and Skills, we are able to offer a range of out of hours activities to children. 

Friends of Wendell Park also provide clubs as part of their strategy for supporting the school.

Choir Club
Choir club takes place on Wednesday from 3.30 - 4.30

Recorder Club
Recorder club takes place on Tuesday from 3.30 - 4.30

Art Club
Art Club takes place on Monday and Wednesday 3.30 - 4.30.

Football Club
Football Club is run by Friends of Wendell Park (PTA).
There are currently approx 75 children attending the Club which runs from 3.30 to 4.30 Monday to Friday. The cost is £15 per child per term.
Football coach JP runs ths club.

French Club
French Club is run by Friends of Wendell Park (PTA)
Starting January 2010 there are 38 children enroled. The club takes place at  Friday lunchtime. Le club rere Jacques supply tutors.

Cheerleading
Takes place on Wednesday froim 3.30 - 4.30.

Dance club
Takes place on Tuesday after school 3.30 - 4.30

Clubs Charter

To help you understand what these clubs are for, what your child should expect from them, and what is expected from those who attend and their parents, we are producing a Clubs Charter which will be posted here and on the FofWP noticeboard and given to parents of pupils who attend the clubs.

We are committed to systematically reviewing and evaluating our provision of clubs, and would like to hear your views. Please contact the school.
