14 January 2011 - Friends Coffee Morning There will be a coffee morning on Friday 14th January from 9am to welcome new parents to the school and also plan activities for 2011. Please come along if you can. 24 November 2010 - Christmas Craft Evening The evening was a a great success. We made lots of lovely Christmas decorations to sell at the fair. Sophie has kindly offered to host another event on Wednesday 8th December so please come along. Don't worry if you can't sew - lots of help on hand! 18 November 2010 - Friends Coffee Morning There will be Friends's coffee morning tomorrow from 9am. All parent/carers welcome. Please come along and help plan the Winter Fair. 12 November 2010 - International Food Evening Thank you to everyone who attended last week's very successful International Food Evening. It was great to see so many new faces and lots of delicious food from around the world. 3 July 2010 - Summer Fair Thank you to everyone who helped with the summer fair this year. We raised lots of money and a good time was had by all. The go-karts were a big hit! A special thanks to Ali for all her hard work. The money raised will contribute towards the cost of redecorating the lunch hall over the summer.. 19 March 2010 - New Chair for Friends of Wendell Park Sophie Sainty has done a fantastic job as temporary Chair, co ordinating a very successful winter and summer fair that raised the most money ever! Thanks to Ali Hird for volunteering to take over as the new chair and to Sophie for her hard work over the last two terms. After a brief Friday trial the cake stall is now on Wednesday again at 3.30pm. Please contribute cakes, biscuits or savoury snacks. All contributions and help will be gratefully received. 26th March 2010 - The W Factor. Tickets are now on sale after school for the very popular W Factor. Tickets sell fast and are priced at £4 for and £2.50 for children. 11 December 2009 - Winter Fair The Winter Fair was a great sucess and raised £2300. Thank you to all those who came along and specially to those who helped out. 12 January 2009 - New Lunchtime French Club The Friends of Wendell Park 's lunchtime French club starts this term. The club is run by Le Club Frere Jacques and has been very popular. It is currently full for this term but please contact the school office if you wish to be placed on the waiting list.
