At Wendell Park, we feel that it is incredibly important that all our pupils learn about religion and from this knowledge are able to further understand, make links and develop an awareness of the world around us.
Our approach to teaching religious education is through a process of enquiry into concepts which supports pupils in their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. Pupils are encouraged to ask questions about our world, reflect on their own values and share their beliefs and experiences with each other.
Our religious education learning develops knowledge of world faiths, understanding and awareness of the beliefs, values and traditions of other individuals, societies, communities and cultures. We embrace opportunities to visit places of worship and to speak to members of our community and beyond to deepen our understanding of faith, morals and values.
At Wendell Park we follow the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham's Religious Education curriculum. Please click here for the LBHF document 'Living Difference III'.
